The Homeless Puppy:
No name was just brought to our facility today, February 19th. She is five months old and weighs just 6.7 pounds.
She became homeless when her elderly owner was taken to the hospital.
Designer dogs, as these mutts are now called, are selling for $899 at the pet store in our local mall. One purchased dog died last week and one is now at a vet's office fighting for it's life with parvo. Our homeless girl is NOT from this pet store. Ours was purchased from a private breeder who wouldn't take her back.
Our homeless girl is very outgoing, playful and friendly.
Homeless is up for adoption. Her new family may change her name, but her legal name which will appear on her vet records and on the Avid microchip registration will be the one we draw from a hat from YOUR donations!
